Hey, Chris Lewis here (aka Shade) 1/2 of TuneTribe. Born in Fort Lauderdale,Florida, and raised in the Atlanta,Georgia metro Area. At a very young age I received a Casio keyboard.I learned that I could play what I heard.I kept at it. In elementary school I started on snare drum in concert band and by the time I got to middle and high school I started marching band i was on drum line,Snare. From there I went onto the drumset where I played for church as well as artist. Whilst this all took place I would continue to practice Keyboards. Through this journey I met Oshun the other half of TuneTribe by way of a mutual friend who sings and we started to collaborate on projects for fun and the mutual passion for music has led us to where we are now, here. I myself have a wide range of influences that have assisted me along this musical road of life.Genre's such as R&B,hip hop, pop, dancehall, country, reggaeton, cinematic and more. The site here to insprie and bring into our world of music as we see it. Hope you enjoy the experience as much as we have creating it.
Our Story
Im Rod Oshun half of TuneTribe born in the State of Alabama but now my home is in the state of georgia for over 20 years on the eastside of Atlanta I was always a fan of hiphop music R&b,some pop and other genre's,having a past that made me rethink life situations I evenatually came in contact with different artist that was in out of the studio, of course I went to the studio with them one weekend and quickly became attached to the Music. I wanted to learn how to make music so I played around with it for years, until I actually took it serious and went to school for audio engineering and what I was missing was found. And I have been doing it every sense and it was a way of escaping mentally. Once I understood how audio works, my music went from basic to above average to I know what the hell im doing now! To some People music is a way of life. WELCOME TO TUNETRIBE
